The only thing different I did this time for the topping I added cinnamon, which I really liked. I also doubled it, Bryan really likes the tartness of it, so I figured I'd overload it on. He hasn't had any since Thanksgiving ;)
Cinnamon Sour Cream Topping
1 C sour cream
3 TB sugar
1 1/2 TS pure vanilla
1 TS ground cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together in bowl using whisk. Pour over COMPLETELY cooled pie. Wham Bam Thank ya Ma'am!
There have been some other things that I've made the past few weeks that I've either forgot to post, were to busy to post, or just didn't take photos of.. One being home made applesauce - soooo good! And the other the cheese danish and nutella cheesecake cups. I'll get on that ASAP!
Have a great week everyone :)
Ok...thanks to all of the blogs I follow {yours included} I'm now craving all things pumpkin! So this is definitely going on the list of "must makes". More importantly...is that a red mixer in the background? very cool! I can't wait for the recipe for the nutella cheesecake cups! yumo!
ReplyDeleteI love everything pumpkin, I'm stocking up on canned pumpkin now, and when I start seeing sugar pumpkins, I'm going to steam and freeze the puree, can't wait! That is actually a red toaster, but I do have a red mixer too :D
